We are delighted to announce that MindForward Alliance is the new Partner for  The Global Business Collaboration for Better Workplace Mental Health (GBC)

The GBC seeks to advance progress across the global by committing senior leaders to a Leadership Pledge . The Pledge recognises the critical role business leaders have in raising awareness and enabling support for better workplace mental health. By signing the Pledge, leaders commit to six actionable steps to play their part in making mental health a visible priority in their workplace.

MindForward Alliance will build on the great start made by our friends at United for Global Mental Health who incubated the GBC campaign in 2021. In its first year, t he GBC reached 62 countries and over  100 businesses, who collectively employ 1.6 million people. MindForward Alliance will take the GBC into the next phase of its development and work with GBC’s Founding Partners - Unilever, Deloitte, HSBC, BHP, Salesforce, BP, WPP, Clifford Chance, Sodexo and Visa - to oversee the Collaboration’s ongoing activities. The Collaboration and the Alliance’s combined effort will shape and re-imagine the workplace and accelerate the much-needed change for better workplace mental health.

Looking ahead

The focus for GBC is now to drive forward the evidence base in workplace mental health and measure impact against the ir Leadership Pledge. The GBC will also form regional hubs and amplify its voice to encourage other business leaders to join this global movement. Together we will de- stigmatise mental health challenges and collectively take action to ensure mental health is a priority in every workplace.

For businesses that haven’t yet signed GBC’s Leadership Pledge, we are calling on leaders around the world to join the collaboration to accelerate progress in workplace mental health. Sign the Leadership Pledge here .

For businesses that have signed the GBC Leadership Pledge , we invite you to get in touch with the GBC with ideas for how we can support you and share any work you have done on the pledge that we can learn from and promote. The journey ahead will only be possible with all of us connecting and working together.

Together with GBC and their Founding Partners, w e look forward to w orking with the community to create lasting change in the world of work.
