Toni Graves, Global Head of Reward and Wellbeing at A&O Shearman, who used the previous version of the Framework to inform their global approach to workplace mental wellbeing said:

"MindForward Alliance’s Thriving at Work Framework is the foundation of our approach to employee wellbeing in our network of 40+ global offices.

The three pillars – focused on organisation, environment and wellbeing – along with the detailed 10 standards which underpin them, have helped to shape the minimum workplace mental health standards that we support our different regional offices to work towards.

We’ve found the framework to be a practical and essential resource to guide those offices that are nearer the beginning of developing their wellbeing strategies, as well as for those that have more established programmes and initiatives in place. The framework has also helps to ensure consistency of our strategic approach across the different regional offices, while allowing for cultural nuance to be applied on the ground.

We also use the Alliance’s Thriving At Work Assessment to check on our progress, and to continually refine our approach, identify new priorities, and ensure we continue to be aligned with best practices in workplace mental health.

The Thriving At Work framework is supporting us on our journey to build a mentally healthy business, where our people feel supported and empowered to thrive – both personally and professionally. For organisations that are working on their approach to wellbeing, it is a great resource.”
