Head of Workplace Wellbeing
Phil is the Head of Workplace Wellbeing at MindForward Alliance, responsible for the delivery of our membership programme, hosting and participating in member events and collaborative working groups, and leading on member engagement activities. Phil is also responsible for the delivery of the annual Thriving at Work Assessment, providing reports, feedback to members and ongoing advisory support.
Phil has almost 35 years' experience in Financial Services having previously worked for several leading banks, including NatWest, Barclays and HBOS. He has spent the last 21 years at BNY where he was Head of Training for Pershing EMEA and, for the last 7 years, has worked in the International Management Team supporting one of the bank's Senior Executives.
Phil became involved with HEART (BNY’s diverse abilities network) in London when the chapter was formed in 2014, becoming London Co-Chair in 2016 and EMEA lead in 2018. He then served as global Co-Chair of HEART from 2021-2024, leading the resource group to global awards in 2024 with MindForward Alliance (Leadership Award) and Disability:IN (EBRG of the Year). Phil is also the Chair of the Lord Mayor’s Appeal This is Me programme SteerCo.
Outside of work, Phil loves riding his bike, escaping in his campervan with his wife Zena, spending time with his family, and parenting his two toddler cats, Jasper and Ziggy.
